All Saints' Church
Actually, I'm not a believer at all. Not in a spiritual way anyway.
But there is something exciting, fantastic and beautiful with historic buildings and places. Yes, I see it more as a historical view than a religious one.
I can understand people coming here. To find peace, find silence, recovery, meditate or just get away from everyday life.
Sweden may not have the most powerful churches in the world, but they are usually open and with plenty of space. Tourists and citizens are simply not drawn to our Swedish churches in the same way as in the rest of Europe, for better or worse I guess.
Or what do I really know, not that I visit churches every weekend .... but the few times I do, I am always struck by emptiness.
Halloween is a big weekend for the churches, I was there a weekend early ..... maybe that was why, maybe it was covid-19, maybe ...
